Kagero is one of my favorite Flame of Recca characters. She doesn't get much screen time once the martial arts tournament starts, but she's the cause of the whole series if you want to look at it that way.
The writers went out of the way to give Kagero some nice melancholy touches -- the way she is condemned to immortality, and the fact that she and Recca can never touch. |
